STOP PRESS - Association of Women Solicitors Returner Course 2010

The next Course will be held on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 November at the Law Society, London, WC2A 1PL.

The Association of Women Solicitors Awards 2010 Sponsored by Finders

Nominations for the Association of Women Solicitors Annual Awards open on 1st June. The awards seek to recognise some of the many outstanding women solicitors providing legal services in order to reward those who are or will be the role models for future women solicitors. By celebrating the success of such women solicitors the AWS wants to send out a message to the wider business community that women solicitors are successful business women managing their legal practices. The awards ceremony will take place in London on 9th September and the winner of each category will be included in the nominations for the Association of Women Solicitors/The Law Society Legal Business Woman of the Year Award 2010, to be presented at The Law Society Excellence Awards on 21st October. EQUAL PAY CAMPAIGN: AWS and Law Society join forces to address pay inequalities for women

The Association of Women Solicitors (AWS) is a recognised group of the Law Society.

Membership is open to any woman solicitor or trainee who is a Law Society member or associate member.

Membership is not automatic upon qualification as a solicitor, but more than one third of all women solicitors already belong to the AWS. This is your invitation to join us.

It costs you nothing to join and you can apply on-line. More information and application form.
